Colleen Dennis is a Richmond native who attended both UR and VCU. Her academic background specialized in social work and later in gerontology. While her professional practice focuses on building a care management program for older adults, one of her main personal interests is how to use her faith to help those who have experienced a miscarriage. Colleen and her husband John had two healthy children before losing their third to a miscarriage in 2017. Following an almost 6 month monitoring period, they were blessed with their now almost 2 year old baby.
