There are people feeling overwhelmed by the unrest in the world, negative news, and ongoing impact of Covid. As a result, I wanted to share a few thoughts and tips on how we can and will overcome in the midst of challenging times. With the constant overload of negative information, many of us are feeling emotionally exhausted. When we are bombarded with bad news on a continual basis, we can become physically, emotionally, and spiritually exhausted. As a result, we become more prone to illness. If we allow the negativity to overtake our peace and joy, we can develop compassion fatigue. Compassion fatigue can leave us feeling numb, socially isolated, and at times, withdrawn from life.
