As I read out of proverbs this morning this scripture stood out to me.
Proverbs 14:13
“Laughter can conceal a heavy heart, but when the laughter ends, the grief remains.”
The words spoke to me and I began to write this down:
The laughter that we present to others and the picture that “I’m okay and everything is fine” when deep down there is hurt/grief and healing needed. Healing is inevitably needed in order for growth to take place. How quickly we reach/begin our healing journey is up to us.
